sorinne was a child prodigy with her spellcasting, and her studies in sharlayan only honed such talents further. she graduated from the studium with honours and moved on to furthering her abilities.she oft travels out of her home to meet with contacts, and simply to occasionally sojourn outside of sharlayan; even more so since the state of the world took the turn that it did.she calls herself a 'sage,' yet she does not heal with her magics, and instead has developed her own way of using her foci which has turned the heads of students and mentors alike.she maintains a traditional form of casting with a primitive form of nouliths which are old gelmorran heirlooms. assuredly, she receives much judgement from her progressive peers. yet the way she shapes ice as if it were second nature with graceful motions makes it obvious that she is a natural at what she does; veritably dancing with her nouliths atop a bed of rime.as of late, she seeks the help of a gleaner to assist in a personal venture.
β abilities overviewfrost shields β’ ice shields which are single target cylinders of cold made to absorb impacts. can also be cast in a wall shape to protect large groups.
ice shards β’ a barrage of razor-tipped icicles formed at the tips of her nouliths and launched in the direction of her assailant. the larger the size, the longer it takes to cast.
magical restraints β’ ice formed at ones feet, made to creep up their legs and hold them in place by freezing their limbs to the area in which contact has been made.
fog β’ air manipulated to be cold and frosty; all to obscure the field of battle for a hasty retreat, general stealth, or a surprise attack.
nouliths β’ sorinne uses a much more primitive form of nouliths which are old gelmorran antiquities passed down through her bloodline. she's a formidable sage regardless and uses her talents not for healing, but resourcefulness. they are more akin to a red mage's foci, with azure ice aspected crystals set within an elegant and ornate silver frame.
